Hi, I’m Iris Leung.

UX/UI and Product Designer with a passion for curiosity and human-centered design.

I’m a strategic Product Designer with 5 years of experience in UX/UI Design and Research, 12+ years in visual design, and traditional training in graphic design.

I cut my teeth for the past 16 years in NYC, working for a fintech start-up, in-house brand agency for the fashion and interior trend forecasting powerhouse WGSN, and most recently led UX and Product Design for Investopedia, as well as UI and UXR for the Performance Marketing Team at Dotdash Meredith. I recently relocated and am currently based out of Hong Kong.

Methods

I consider myself a life-long student, and in my work, I strive for the same— to listen and understand with curiosity and an open mind, and to create helpful, memorable, and delightful experiences for users.

It’s especially meaningful when I get to work on projects focused on unraveling complicated topics for users, or contribute to areas that align with my personal interest in history, shared urban spaces, and climate change.

Reading history, particularly the Ottoman Empire, Central Asia during the early A.D. periods, and dynastic-era China. Learning about and ogling at different architectural styles on travels. Checking out public libraries. Seeking out and experimenting with flavours and spices. Exploring the hiking trails of HK.
