Investopedia Homepage Update

A well-respected resource for investing and financial knowledge, Investopedia recognized the need to overhaul its homepage to better showcase the full range of its educational content, broaden its reader base, and further solidify its position as a go-to source for financial information and education.

The Project

With over 55M visits per month, Investopedia is a behemoth in the financial education space, serving up 13,000+ definitions of investing terms and concepts. In addition, they host weekly podcast sessions with experts in the finance industry, publish quarterly issues dedicated to personal finance, compare and review financial products, and much more. Despite their extensive offerings, this diversity of content was not apparent from the homepage, making it difficult for users to discover the full breadth of the site's valuable resources.

The challenge: Update the Investopedia homepage to showcase the depth and breadth of its content. Furthermore, maximize the potential of Dotdash Meredith’s existing cross-vertical CMS platform to empower the Editorial team to easily and quickly update the homepage as necessary.
